Reduce Colors
The Reduce Colors tool performs what's known as color quantization—the process of reducing the number of distinct colors in an image. This is often useful because the output of other PixelLab tools can contain many similar or slightly different colors. It can also help when converting an image to match a specific palette.

- Palette: pick a recommended palette (Game Boy, PICO-8, NES, 1-bit and more), import one from Lospec by its link, load a palette image, or paste hex colours. Max colours limits each image; several frames share one choice of colours. With dithering, only the palette's colours are used.
